A Private residence located on the Metedeconk River. The interior was dated, the floors were golden yellow, and there was even a compass inlayed in the entry.
The kitchen, the heart of any home, had to become more functional and become a better reflection of the clients transitional flavor. Introducing a Pantry Wall in place of a 90’s desk in the kitchen to add to the functionality. The Tone of the Cabinetry is the perfect muted stain, highlighted by the gorgeous honey bronze hardware, also sleek with a subtle curve.
The show stopping stone hood, mitered to perfection, is a beautiful modern juxtaposition to the traditional shaker style fronts. Double Islands were all dropped down to counter height to keep the view into the kitchen uninterrupted. We continued the same cabinetry into the butler pantry we added the handprinted textural wall covering to unify with the family room opposite the kitchen.
The Family Room was once a playroom, we transformed it to be a relaxing room for adults to hang or teens to play their gaming system away from the main living room. The palette throughout the space is very Coastal Chic, tonal warm whites, sands and blues intertwined radiates relaxing vibes.
The existing stair on all three levels was very heavy visually for the space. We decide to visually lighten the space by adding a slim metal baluster instead of the chunky white wood spindles. We also incorporated a natural handcrafted wallcovering adding visual texture and a play on sheen while the sunlight dances along the wall.
The Master Bedroom was also frozen in time. The new bed is modern velvet dream in a phenomenal shade of olive. It was only fitting that it had the a killer backdrop, we chose a luxurious handcrafted wallcovering made from water hyacinth. Another calming oasis in the house.

This summer home is a private residence located on the boardwalk. It was a prime location for family fun, but the interior of this home was stuck in the past.
We elevated all finishes throughout the house. Reclaimed the View to the Ocean by replacing the dated door with a full glass panel door on the beach level.
Keeping the Palette a blend of warm neutral, whites, and weaving in different tones of blue. The natural handcrafted wallcovering adds a chic coastal texture to the space. The addition of the coffered ceiling with the large cove crown truly transformed the main space. In the kitchen we brought in a gorgeous glass tile in the backsplash reminiscent of opal sea glass.
The existing stair to both the upper + lower level were very underwhelming when we started. We incorporated a vertical shiplap on the circulation wall from the main level to the upper level, which really aids in heightening the room. As for the stair from main level to the lower level we continued the textural wallcovering all the way down really unifying the lower level with the rest of the house.
Overall the interior was transformed from sad + outdated to Coastal Chic Space giving a small oasis of solitude with a killer ocean views.

White Opal Hair Co. is located in Oakhurst. The salon is a chic take on modern industrial design with a touch of refined glam.
The vision started with a raw space which was narrow and long. The volume when entering was amazing and wanting the space to feel as large as possible we took full advantage of it, leaving all of the ceiling and mechanicals exposed. The elimination of a drop ceiling is a game changer in this type of commercial space. The space planning allowed for high end stations with ample space in between each station. We were able to maximize the secondary front of house spaces as well. These include a custom color bar, a wash station island, a photo wall for social media, and a color processing area w/custom mill work (coming soon).
For the palette we wanted the space to feel natural, clean, light, and tailored. We chose to mix natural materials, finishes, and textures with the crisp contrast of black and brass metals. We also used the lighting as the jewelry defining the various spaces.
Every Little Gem who enters White Opal Hair Co. is greeted by a gorgeous custom front desk evoking the vibe that all their hair dreams are about to come true. The positive energy throughout the space is complimented by the design, furniture selections and decor.

A boutique fitness studio chose to have their second location in the iconic Bell Labs, a midcentury building designed by Eero Saarinen, located in Holmdel, New Jersey. The Labs are newly renovated and reimagined into what is now known as Bell Works Business Center. The complex aims to be an ecosystem of technology, offices, retail, dining, hospitality, fitness and more.
The Bar Method is located in Building Three, the fitness pod. The full glass storefront opens to the large atrium which is flooded with natural light. The deep blue plane behind the reception desk anchors the space, while the contrasting accents of white wood planks and stone are used to grab the attention of those in the atrium. The design palette is a chic refined industrial style, focusing on shifting planes, clean lines and natural materials. Once entering the studio space, the colors are in neutral relaxing tones allowing students to focus on the movements.

A private residence located on a challenging site in Atlantic Highlands. The existing house was a ranch built in the 60s. The existing layout did not take advantage of the most stunning aspect of the site, the sweeping views of Sandy Hook and Skyline of Manhattan.
The design strategy was to focus on compression + release. Compression starting at the top of the driveway as you snake down the steeply sloped path to the house. The approach giving you small peeks of the view followed by the release of the panoramic views once inside. The house was fully gutted in order to reorient the floor plan, open up the view, and add a second floor. The interior palette is contemporary in style. Every material selection and color lends itself to the coastal location and a refined industrial flavor.

An international art academy studio created a studio dedicated to empowering veterans. The space was an existing traditional retail box on Broad Street. The addition of the Loft allowed us to move the required office and art storage up, keeping all other spaces accessible to all disabled students on the ground level.
The Palette was to be a back drop to the artwork the students would be working on. Choosing this neutral grey palette combined with the lighting selection reduced the possibility of colors shifting during the painting process.

An update to a 1930’s Beach House. The Clients wanted to update the house retaining its coastal charm. Previous renovations caused a disconnect between the heart of the house and the backyard. Our design focused on reestablishing the connection by relocating the front entry, reorganizing the first floor and opening up the rear wall.
The interior selections, built-in cabinetry, and detailing unifies the coastal charm with a modern eclectic vibes of the client.

A Private Residence in Fair Haven was in dire need of an update. The heart of the home was dated and cluttered.
We removed the faux drop beams throughout the space, opening up the volume of the space and redesigned the kitchen in a transitional flavor.
Focusing on organization within the cabinetry and using clean lines was key. The palette consisted of grey painted cabinetry paired with natural quartzite slabs. The addition of the handcrafted clay backsplash highlights a beautiful organic texture of a brick and unifies the warmth of the hardwood tone. While the pendants and the cabinet hardware are more refined acting as the jewelry of the space.
This was a gorgeous transformation reflecting the contemporary style of the client while staying true to the traditional fabric of the house.

Luigi’s Ice Cream was having great success in the Food Truck World and Luigi decided to open his first Brick & Mortar location in Red Bank on Broad Street. The Ice Cream Shop Specializes in unique and current methods to elevate your ice cream experience. They offer ice cream filled warm donuts, rolled ice cream and handmade unique flavors.
The focus was to capture the fun of not being your “typical” ice cream shop while blending in the roots and notability of the food truck. The unique gem, of this specific location, is it is one of the few spots on Broad Street that has a recessed outdoor patio. For us this was the perfect nook to enjoy a delicious treat on summer nights while people watching. We opened up the patio removing a fenced enclosure. Added murals, inspired by the graphics from the Food Trucks, breathing life and a playful spirit into the outdoor space.
The interior palette was selected to compliment the exposed brick & nogging that was buried under sheetrock. The texture of the raw torched wood cedar of the built-ins warmly contrasted the cement-like porcelain hex on the floors. The industrial style glass + metal piping allowed for wider view and connection between the artisans making the rolled ice cream and the audience. The cherry on top the nostalgic and gram worthy “Ice Cream” Sign.
Overall the shop lends itself to families while keeping the space chic for date nights and girls nights.
We went on to design their second location in Metuchen as well.
